    Celestial Spirit Magic

    Magic Name: Celestial Spirit Magic
    Magic Type/Sub-type: Holder/Caster (Celestial Spirit)
    Description: Celestial Spirit Gate Keys are the very objects connecting celestial spirits from their realm to Earthland. Celestial Spirit wizards are able to use said keys to summon spirits for a variety of purposes, most often combat-related. In order to summon one though, a contract must be made between the spirit and his/her key holder. These contracts, although seemingly simple, represent a strong bond between the holder and the spirit. There are certain circumstances where contracts can be broken, such as in the heat of battle, but usually out of respect, a Celestial Spirit wizard will stick to the original agreement.
       
    Strengths:

    • Spirits come in many shapes and sizes, and an affinity for a variety of elements.
         
    • When a spirit is defeated, some of the mana used to summon gets returned to Winter.
         

       Weaknesses:
       

    • Winter is vaulnerable to any and all spells her spirits may cast.
         
    • Some spirits require certain mediums to be summoned (i.e. Aquarius's key must be touching water).
         
    • If the spirit's key gets lost, it cannot be summoned.
         

       Traits:
       

         
    • Sacrificial Gift: When a celestial spirit gets defeated in battle (NOT desummoned), 5% of the mana used to summon the spirit gets returned to Winter.
         
    • Star Dress: By placing a Celestial Spirit Gate Key on her chest, Winter can use the spells of the respective spirit. This is visually represented by a wardrobe change, although it is not to be confused with requip. The wardrobe change provides no additional support or abilities; however, to activate this ability, it costs the same amount of mana it would take to summon the spirit and only lasts for 5 posts (max) with a 6 post cool down. The spirit in question may not be on cooldown.
         
    • Elemental Affinity: Winter's celestial spirits have a 25% resistance to their respective elements.
         
    • Mental Bond: All summoned celestial spirits can telepathically communicate with Winter, but not her allies. However far the spirit can be from Winter is the range of this ability.

    Libra:

       Name: Libra - The Heavenly Scales
       Rank: A-Rank
       Type: Summon
       Duration: 9 posts
       Cooldown: 10 posts
       Description: Libra takes the form of a young adult female with tan skin and a curvaceous body. Her black hair is tied up like ox horns and she wears green and yellow tribal clothing. The bottom half of her face is covered by a tan cloth with a red Libra sign printed on the bottom. She wears rings that have strings dangling down, which are connected to golden bowls. They are meant to resemble scales.
       Effects: Libra is able to deal A-Rank melee damage by fighting, or swinging her scales (causing broken bones and severe bruising). She can only withstand A-Rank damage though before being defeated and sent back to the spirit world. She can only be within 70m of Winter.
       Strengths:
       

    • Able to use gravity magic
    • Scales can be used to deal blunt damage

       Weaknesses:
       

    • Only able to use spells specified for Libra
    • Is prone to damage from her own spells
    • Does not benefit from Elemental Affinity

       Effects: Corvus can fight with hand-to-hand combat if she must, dealing B-Rank blunt damage (causing deep bruises and/or fractures), but much prefers to use her magic. If she receives B-Rank damage, she will return to the spirit world to heal. Corvus may only be within 55m of Winter.

A gold colored rope ties around her waist. Her ears are adorned with earrings that have a single white feather draping down from each one. Although Columba is rather timid, she will fight if she has to. Winter is usually mindful of this though.
       Effects: Columba is a more defensive celestial spirit, although; she can deal B-Ranked damage with her spiked mace. If Columba receives B-Rank damage, she will be defeated and return to the spirit world. She can only be within 55m of Winter.
